Service Description
A chemical peel is a facial treatment that uses a chemical solution to remove the damaged outer layers of skin, revealing newer, healthier skin underneath. This non-invasive procedure can improve the tone and texture of skin by treating issues like dullness, sun damage, acne, fine lines, and uneven pigmentation.
Key Benefits:
-
Improves Skin Texture and Tone: Helps reduce fine lines, wrinkles, acne, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and uneven skin tone.
-
Boosts Skin Renewal: Encourages exfoliation and cell turnover, revealing smoother, brighter, and healthier-looking skin.
-
Customizable for Your Skin Needs: Available in light, medium, or deeper peels to target specific concerns with controlled results.
-
Safe for Most Skin Types: Performed by trained medical professionals with minimal downtime when compared to more aggressive resurfacing treatments.
How It Works:
During your session, a licensed aesthetician or medical professional will cleanse your skin and apply a carefully selected chemical solution to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin. The treatment typically lasts 30–45 minutes, depending on the type of peel used. The solution works by stimulating skin renewal and collagen production, allowing damaged or dull skin to shed and reveal a fresher, more radiant complexion.
What to Expect:
-
Pre-Treatment: A consultation to assess your skin type, concerns, and goals to determine the most appropriate peel strength.
-
During Treatment: A mild tingling or warming sensation may be felt as the solution works; this is generally well-tolerated and monitored closely for comfort and safety.
-
Post-Treatment: Temporary redness, flaking, or peeling may occur and typically resolves within a few days to a week, depending on the peel depth. Sun protection and aftercare instructions are essential for optimal healing.
-
Results: Noticeable improvement in skin tone and texture within 1–2 weeks, with enhanced results after a series of treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
